When to Treat It as Urgent
Not every appliance issue is an emergency, but some are. Call right away if you see any of these:
- A refrigerator or freezer that has stopped cooling and is climbing above safe temperatures.
- A wine cooler drifting warm with a valuable collection inside.
- Water actively leaking onto hardwood or into a finished basement.
- A gas smell near a range or cooktop. In that case, leave the home and call your gas utility first, then reach us.
IF You Smell Gas
Do not operate switches or the appliance. Leave the home and contact your gas utility or 911 first. Once the area is safe, we can diagnose and repair the appliance.
How to Protect Your Food While You Wait
- Keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible to hold temperature.
- Move the most valuable items to a working unit or a cooler with ice.
- Note the model and serial number and any error code so we arrive prepared.
